This is my daughter's perspective in detail about how mommy's battle with cancer has affected her and everyone else around her. How quickly things have changed for all, how everything changed for everyone, permanently.
When we started this book, it was one huge pile of words. They had no beginning & no end. Throughout the process, we asked her to breathe and think about where she wanted to break them apart. We hoped by taking her own words and placing them on paper that it would help in her own journey of healing. One day she asked if we could find someone to draw the pictures, with hopes that someday she might be able to help another child who is going through a similar experience. It was clear that it was very important to her, that other children know they are not alone, by following through with her dreams of helping other children through her own experience.
